2023 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The application for the 2024 GLVWIAA Scholarship is now open for submission.
"A $500 scholarship will be awarded to each recipient"
*One scholarship will be awarded to a student of Caribbean/ West Indian descent.
The second scholarship will be awarded to all other students.

Criteria
1. Completion of the 2023 Scholarship Application Form.

2. The Applicant must be a resident in the State of Nevada.
​
3. If you are in high school and admitted to college or university, your high school transcript must be provided. Your recent transcript must be provided if you are already in college or university.
​
4. Current GPA of 2.5 or higher.
​
5. Proof of Acceptance or enrollment for current year must be provided.
​
6. The Scholarship Committee will select two applicants from the entrees.
​
7. The scholarship award is non-renewable. However, candidates who previously applied may reapply in subsequent years.
Important Dates and Deadlines

November 18th, 2023 at 11:59pm, is the deadline for application completion.

November 26th, 2023, winners will be informed of their status and results will be publicized.

December 2nd 2023, checks will be awarded to winning recipients during the night of our Annual Gala.​

Documents to be uploaded within Google Form
​1. Essay must be no more than 500 words, the prompts are available on the google form.
2. Admission Letter or Acceptance Letter must be uploaded.

3. Current Transcript showing current GPA must be uploaded.
