Warren White

I am Warren White, Founding President of the GLVWIAA. I was born in St. Ann, Jamaica and migrated to the US at 11 years old. I am a veteran of the US Airforce and matriculated to Sacred Heart University CT. from which graduated with an MBA. A few years ago, I discovered the beauty of Las Vegas with it's almost perfect weather and great business opportunities and my soulmate. I've been in Las Vegas now for about 4 years. As I am a recent retiree, I am dedicated and committed to the success of the GLVWIAA for the benefit of our Caribbean families and friends in Las Vegas. Join me in this effort and let us positively impact our community.

Michelle Noel

Michelle hails from the twin island of Trinidad and Tobago.

While still, a teenager embarked on her journey to the United States, where she prioritized her academic pursuits at Queen Community College in New York City. Concurrently, she diligently maintained multiple employment commitments while actively seeking her career calling. Her residential chronicle also included a period in Florida before relocating to Las Vegas in 2004, a decision prompted by her desire to be near her family members.

Michelle resumed her educational endeavours in Las Vegas at the College of Southern Nevada, where she majored in psychology and sociology. During this period, she established roots in the community, initiated a family of her own, and encountered the unique challenges and joys associated with raising a son on the autism spectrum. This experience ignited a profound passion that currently works alongside individuals with similar journeys.

Alicia Blake

Jamaica

Greetings, my name is Alicia Blake. I was born and raised in Kingston- Jamaica. I am the first of four children and I attended one of the best high schools in Jamaica, known as the Holy Childhood High School. I taught at my alma mater (my high school) for one year before migrating to London- England
where I taught for 12 years and pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

I currently reside in North Las Vegas, I teach Social Studies in the Clark County school district and I love it. Since moving to Las Vegas, I have completed a master’s degree in Special Education and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Educational Leadership.

I am pleased to be serving on the GLVWIAA board as the member who is responsible to recruit members for the organization. It gives me great satisfaction to
serve where I can and when I can.

Provide a platform for the West Indian Community in the Greater Las Vegas area to connect and network through monthly mixers, webinars, panel discussions, and our annual flagship event which is our holiday Black Tie Gala at the end of each year, West Indies Day.
